Thread: Installing with Wine (Ubuntu 11.10)

hello all,

have got rid of windows , ready use ubuntu @ fullest.
i'm new ubuntu.
have had 10.04 version before not long, , i'm 11.10,
, found old game like, it's windows game .exe....

heard install such files using wine,
, searched , apparently it's standard in 11.10 (correct me if mistaking) have
no clue on how use it.

want use install old game .exe files.
, game install unity web player (which .exe) hasn't succeeded install thusfar (also tried in wine)

sorry if in 1 thing, thought might ask while i'm @ it...

playonlinux said easier wine, available in software centre.

playonlinux front-end wine. permits install
windows games , softwares on linux. advised have functional
internet connection.
