Thread: Linux on Linksys WMCE54AG?

i have linksys wmce54ag windows media center extender. extender runs custom version of windows ce. unfortunately extender compatible windows xp media center edition. question is, possible replace windows ce ubuntu or other version of linux, make compatible other operating systems?

your best bet check on dd-wrt website see have available linksys device.

flashed older linksys wireless router dd-wrt, use repeater, , it's working great.

success dependent on individual models , versions.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
