Thread: LTSP + AD integration

hello folks,

have windows ad environment user profiles having homedirs in windows.
have setup ubuntu ltsp server (10.04.3 - installed via ubuntu-alternate 64bit)

target integrate both these environments, have single sign-on feature , having homedirs mapped in linux well.

purpose came across tutorial

suites kind of environment have.

in tutorial, stuck @ step no. 5.2.2
says run authconfig
don't know referring here.
have auth-config-server , auth-config-client installed on ubuntu still running authconfig in terminal doesn't work.
missing here?

please me out.
if there other robust free solutions, please let me know.
thank you.

authconfig tool in redhat/fedora based distributions. used configure pam/nss use various authorization/authentication mechanisms. can accomplish same thing manually if know doing.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
