Thread: Removing Leafpad...

i installed lubuntu on family members laptop, love lubuntu dont love leafpad or xpad , few other programs , can delete them reason cant delete them without removing lubuntu-desktop. there anyway remove them without removing lubuntu-desktop? if not fine.

lubuntu-desktop metapackage (an "empty" package depends on other packages) incorporating of packages ubuntu deems necessary complete lxde desktop environment. since leafpad 1 of packages, removing automatically removes lubuntu-desktop. expected behavior , nothing worry about. go ahead , remove it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
