Thread: Screen resolution and Shut Down/restart options
hi.
i've been using ubuntu (mostly xubuntu) in last few months.
in last week i've been trying kubuntu, id been avoiding because said former windows users, not (i , mac user). thought heavy computer.
isn't! works well, , plasma desktop quite nice, in many aspects better , more pretty mac os.
there 2 issues can't solve:
1 - when restart computer, screen resolution goes 1024x768; have choose wright resolution again (1440x900), , when restart again goes 1024x768. there way of keeping screen resolution good?
2 - didn't find way restart or shut down computer directly. in kickoff menu have options of "hibernate", "switch user", "log out" or "lock", not "shut down" or "restart" option. , in other "quit" menus i've found around it's same. have log out , shut down or restart. can do?
