Thread: Upgraded to PAE Kernel, worked once, then blank screen on boot

i've been using 2.6.38-13-generic kernel, realized getting 2.6gb of ram (due integrated graphics) of available 8gb, installed 2.6.38-13-generic-pae kernel. worked first time no problem, , when later had restart computer, shows blank screen until re-install kernel 2.6.38-13-generic. recovery mode not work either.

how can fix this?

what type of architecture using computer? 32bit?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
