Thread: Wifi not working in some networks

hi,
facing weird problem. ubuntu wifi works @ home fails connect campus network. problem happened after changed ubuntu 10.10 11.xx version. there reason happen? or should go old version?
no problem displayed while connecting campus; says connection failed after time. times gets connected, unable view access internet.
earlier thought may due drivers, should not work @ home.
great if 1 me.

p.s. tried upgrading re installation of new os; neither worked.

campus networks need special settings, maybe should if settings campus network correct. believe it's better ask admins of network, surely encountered problem before

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
