Using HTML file from Photoshop in Dreamweaver (Was: Help.....Newbie Here)

i'm new dreamweaver. know bit of photoshop , wanted create simple  website using photoshop , dreamweaver. created layout , sliced out different parts , when saved web, created set of image files , html file.

 

now when placed html file in dreamweaver, got right created in photoshop when tried place swf file on image sliced out photoshop, other images (sliced on photshop) scrambled in dreamweaver. tried can't understand how place object while placing text on image file, whole layout gets scrambled.

 

any please. want place swf file , write heading "radio player" above swf file on image in dreamweaver.

slicing design photoshop give 'image' output - bad practice. you're supposed slice design elements & use css put them within webpage.

 

i'd recommend take time out , go through tutorial before continuing work - http://net.tutsplus.com/articles/news/slice-and-dice-that-psd/

 

this give quick walkthrough of how can re-create psd design using css building 'proper' website.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
