Adobe Reader has stopped working?

i have downloaded , installed adobe reader xi using customization wizard.  install finshed no errors on windows 7 x64 pro.  error appears when navigating muliple pdf document , clicking button.

normally happens when returning (by clicking button) 1st page of document.  i've included application error log below.

i've ran adobe reader cleaner tool same results.

 

any appreciated.

can open adobe reader itself?  if so, try disabling protected mode [edit | preferences | security (enhanced)].

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
