Thread: Blank lines down sides on a Sony Bravia TV

i having problems display on sony bravia tv via monitor port.

manual lists avalable monitor modes as

1360 x 768 horizontal freq 47.7 vertical freq 60hz

not seem pass edid info have had setup xorg.conf manually. works have unused bars on screen down either side cannot seem rid off.

when using windows uses res of 1366 x 768 , displays correctly without bars @ either side have been unable working ubuntu 11.04.

xorg.conf looks this. ideas?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
