Thread: Cant send mail? (local SMTP server)

ohai.

so, can't send mail via mta, (postfix), following error.

421 4.3.0 collect: cannot write ./dfq0cghqa4007785 (bfcommit, uid=0, gid=107): no such file or directory
i tried reinstalling everything, did not help. send mail before...

tried configuring squirrelmail , says connection imap server lost when login (but thats story)...

[edit: connection issue fixed, other errors now... stuff like
error: not complete request.
query: select "inbox"
reason given: [serverbug] internal error occurred. refer server log more information. [2012-01-12 19:55:23]
]

[edit: okay, first error made no sense (that had here).. mail.log here:
http://aperture.mangeh.net/mail.log
run postfix , dovecot.

you must chmod 0600 mail spool file user, after work.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
