Thread: driver for the 3d lab Oxygen GVX1

on older hp of sisters oxygen 3d labs graphics card. found below post around 2008 didn't have replies. copy , pasted here. how can card work in xubuntu 11.10? tried safe graphics mode , still out sync error when booting.

"does know of ubuntu driver 3d lab oxygen gvx1, either open source or commercial? new linux , want stay it, lack of driver real problem."

problem solved. removed xubuntu!!
darn it, sisters computer should've been able run real well!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
