i switch centos6 64bit ubuntu 11.10 64bit. having lot of trouble changes struggle install stuff how survived on past solved threads. until later when made mistake of removing don't remember exactly. upon login via vnc got "failed load session ubuntu". assume unistalled kde package.

totally confused wanted srcds , teamspeak , running.

reinstall if wasn't fact host charges me os reloads have never encountered while running under previous hosts 3 years.

the file

/var/log/dpkg.log

should give overview software has been installed or removed system.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
