Thread: Help configuring Nautilus to use a different directory for localhost?

hi everyone.

i'm still figuring way through linux, apologize if should know how do. i'm trying set localhost on machine because web development. followed guide found on-line on installing apache , using sudo nautilus command when go localhost in web browser, points /var/www directory on computer , treats server. i'm wondering if there's way configure uses different directory instead of /var/www. reason because i'm working on more 1 web development project, i'd have different directories each 1 i'm working on, rather having move each 1 in or out of /var/www each time want work on it.

wondering if knows whether there's setting somewhere me this. if not, can tell me how web developers handle problem? i'm assuming can't 1 works on more 1 project @ time? in advance.
