Thread: Need help with internet connection sharing

hey all,

need setting wireless access point. way need receive wireless signal laptop , output signal on ethernet port router. can configure router way need dd-wrt , tomato unsupported router. in reality need repeater okay using computer time being.

want right setup lets me wifi > laptop > ethernet port > router > wifi2.

if post detailed instructions on how appreciated. details if should using crossover or standard cable connection router , details on if should in standard routing mode or access point mode nice.

in advance!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
