i'm running lucid (love lucid!) , want know path lucid current ubu version, want run gnome 3.

can suggest how this????

hi, need important data , clean install best results, upgrades 11.10 have not been real smooth because of changes.

gnome3 if not installed just:
code:
sudo apt-get update
after ubuntu 11.10 installed , choose gnome shell login screen.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
