Thread: Plymouth splash anomilies on screen after login

greetings,

using xfce , slim on ubuntu 11.10. (xubuntu-desktop)

there still few "bugs" work out, more annoying 1 has plymouth splash.

splash screen works expected, after desktop starts, moving pixels on screen. change depending on 1 set. using splash screen: /lib/plymouth/themes/xubuntu-logo

have attached screenshot show happening.

info or insight.

xfce/xubuntu failed test.

installed lubuntu , works correctly.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
