Thread: Standby + Charger

i wondering if can leave computer on charger while on standby , not have burned out battery in long run. still considered on charging if leave on standby , have charger in ?

i have done years laptop. don't know if there risks, nothing bad happened me far, let's wait other people's resolution too.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
