hi,
have installed latest version of ubuntu server, lamp , wordpress.
standard settings , seems ok until publish new page. looks ok in wordpress when i'm going view new page error message:

"the webpage cannot found"

know how solve this? security setting somewhere have no idéa where...

advice

it sounds wordpress specific issue.

when install wordpress wont set unless have php/mysql/apache2 installed properly. if installed wordpress , can access control panel way url's being written.

if installed wordpress , moved wordpress folder subfolder later on cause problem. if case suggest either add symbolic link or find out in wordpress config can change it.

looking @ wordpress support places. perhaps issue mod-rewrite, unless have installed fancy wordpress plugin or not case.. rule out try

sudo a2enmod rewrite

if says enabled suggest see if can find wordpress framework. want paste configuration files etc.

if can run phpinfo

e.g. make file called
phpinfo.php , put in it:

php code:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

then browse it, , says mysql etc enabled must problem wordpress.
