i have bought vps server ubuntu 11.04, ubuntu has no unity, it's console/terminal version think. tried install unity still doesn't works. first tried "sudo apt-get install unity-2d" , "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop", , conected server using vnc can see gray screen nothing. how install , run unity corectly on server?

have installed graphics drivers run ubuntu desktop ?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
