Thread: Unable to log in to Windows 7 after installing 11.10

installed ubuntu 64 bit cd using " alongside windows " option on installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. ubuntu in sda5 windows in sda 3. during startup shows option called " windows loader sda3 " something. when choose option, says cannot read disc or similar , shows option use ctrl + alt + del , use ubuntu 11.10.

bad idea; bad idea -- doing way, have learned hard way, risks corrupting win7 os partition because allowed ubuntu installer resize partition.

when able use win7, have made free win7 repair cd using backup feature, now, have pay priviledge. can go link below, download proper win7 repair cd image, burn cd, , run startup repair 3 times (that's right, 3 times!):
