recently bought video camera , want video editing.

1. after checking i-don't-even-remember-how-many linux video editing programs, i'm quite happy openshot.
1 thing don't slowness of , how slows down rest of computer. have wait minute before mouse click carried out! quite annoying!
2. seem have issues apparently not installed mlt. don't know , don't seem able install.
3. understood built-in video card (see pc signature) there problem 3d/2d accelerator.

because seem have several video issues, don't understand, wonder if buying video card makes sense? solve of issues?

i assure you, nvidia card, have better experience.

have evga gtx 460 se 2gb card, awesome card video editing, not bad games too, though recommend card gaming if plan on doing crysis or similar.

not saying gtx 460, has nvidia, , must research model works time

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
