Trying to make a "video buffering" icon brush

so know when video buffers, typically round path circles or lines , such go dark light? well, need logo design. trying create custom art brush, not happening. created shape id of things along path, don;t know method of creating brush use. know?

 

also, know how make each part around circle lighter?

you may:

 

1) create fill/nostroke circle darkest colour;

2) move copy horizontally , change colour lightest colour;

3) object>blend>blend options, set specified steps number of circles in between;

4) object>blend>make; may object>blend>expand;

 

you may set suitable distance between outermost circles in 2), 3), or 4);

 

5) select (expanded) blend , in brushes palette flyout make new brush, set , art brush , choose proportional keep circular shapes;

6) apply art brush part of circle desired.
