Acrobat cannot print to fax on Fuji Xerox CM305df

hi,

 

i trying fax document using direct fax function of fuji xerox cm305 df printer. setup fax driver printer already. whenever click print function, "fax screen" pop , allow me enter fax number. works mac applications - office, preview, etc.

 

but not working acrobat xi pro mac. click print (fax) , print job appeared in printer queue not spooled @ all. refresh , said cannot connect printer (fax).

 

i open mac preview application , office , works charm. 

 

is there known incompatibility between acrobat , fuji xerox printer?

 

the office ribbon not available mac , printer issue. think adobe need sort out such expensive software. cost usd 500 dollaars.

over years there have been different issues printing fax acrobat various different fax drivers. due printer driver used fax software. fax software converts document faxing pdf part of process. acrobat on mac doesn't print pdf. may case here. have no solution unfortunately. however, noted can print preview workaround until comes better answer.

 

the office ribbon on mac never did more spool pdf printer instance. on mac superfluous. on windows did serve purpose. adobe says issue lack of functionality due lack of support microsoft in office suite. if indeed correct, blaming adobe doesn't help.
