Clip Mismatch (sequences dont match)
hi, can me plase in doubt ? cant put 2 sequences (or videos) match; heres example: create 2 sequences same settings. in 1 of put video wich original resolution low, click "change sequence settings" when clip mismatching window appears . other video has hig resolution, , when put him on timeline, click in "change sequence settings" adjust project settings. here problem: when try put 2 sequences (or videos) in same one, 1 doent match other. low resolution video gets tiny huge black borders. doing wrong ? hope clear in question, simple understand, want put 2 videos in sequence without 1 lower resolution gets huge black borders around him, thats all. in advance.
here need tweaking (or manual work): videos different resolutions in same sequence not automatically scale match 1 another. never did, never will. if sequence set lower resolution, higher-resolution clips appear blown , cropped - if sequence set higher resolution, lower-resolution clips appear windowboxed (or gutterboxed).
to fix properly: sequence set match higher-resolution clip, right-click on lower-resolution clip in timeline, , select "scale frame size". may still black borders on left , right sides of frame, particularly if lower-resolution clip has aspect ratio of 4:3 , higher-resolution clip has aspect ratio of 16:9.
