Illustrator CS2 and Acrobat Pro refuse to install.

illustrator cs2 , acrobat pro refuse install.  have 2 drives , (illustrator , acrobat pro) keep installing on other drive not using.  able install photoshop , indesign cs2 on current drive (they on other drive).   tried uninstall acrobat pro appears on current drive , uninstaller refuses it.  cannot find either app on current drive.

what going on?

nobody can tell without system info. "other drive" means nothing without knowing of details.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
