Saving raw in jpeg not enough memory (in Camera raw)

hello using camera raw following config:

amd athlon ii x2 245 processor 2.90 ghz ram:4,00 go 32 bits

i know not enough in ram not alone in case. have close camera raw because have got message not enough memory continue jpeg conversion (especially on photo heavy modification :noise etc). because saving in jpeg , using @ same time camera raw continue work, time time have 3 or 4 jpeg conversions @ same time. found solution gives little bit better results:

i process photos camera raw without saving in jpeg . when work finished reload each photos camera raw , without waiting save in jpeg close camera raw , reload new photo , on. in case have less problèms. suggestion or may possible : saving the modified raw photo in jpeg directly bridge without loading them in camera raw , if possible in batch process. similar system lightroom.thanks comments

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
