Text not showing on iPhone in AIR app.

hi

 

i'm guessing fundamental misunderstanding on part ios , android development.

 

i've created movieclip in flash pro, made of bitmaps , text fields (dynamic, input , static). bitmaps imported , dragged onto stage, , text fields created in ide using text tool.

 

i've embeded font clicking embed next syle drop down, , checking uppercase, lowercase, punctuation, , numerals.

 

publish , load ipa onto iphone.

 

the images , layout fine, not text displayed.

 

am supposed somehow export font when publish fla?

 

any tuts out there creating ios , android apps using ide code? tuts , book have @ showing how set iphone dev account, set provisioning profile etc, when comes creating app focus on importing assets , creating text fields using code. build views in ide, , export them class - if involve fair whack of graphical layout.

 

thanks guidance.

for reason though check right boxes in font embedding window have found in cases still have explicity define characters want in "also include these characters" box. try explicity defining them there , see if fixes issue.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
