This application cannot be run from a network drive. Please copy it to a local drive and relaunch it

gett error message when try install cloud application manager.
using mac parrellels running windows 7.

 

tried copying file onto folder on desktop , go message:

 

"this application cannot run network drive. please copy local drive , relaunch it."

 

any suggestions appreciated.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
