how add keys in linux? add keys mean? see below refering to. have no idea keys other metal pointy things use house or start car. i'm not linux expert , know little how type in commands make stuff work.
when clicked on link (http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr
displayed bunch of lines of random characters assume should have right clicked , saved file if save , do file?

know root level access , sudo gives root level access system when commands typed , can cut , paste if displays exact commands in forum.

in terminal root or sudo, or (ii) download (http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/suldr.gpg) , add keys via synaptic, other gui, or (as root or using sudo): code:
apt-key add suldr.gpg

never mind figured out anyway.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
