Thread: firefox 9.0.1 pop up blocker

hi everybody,
using lucid , firefox 9.0.1 removes sites pop blocker attempting rid of later found out microsoft ad sense. kept on showing watch bought wife , price world of watches not cool.
in mean time pop blocker blocks inclucding bank...is there anyway restore original. ???

you didn't mention popup blocker installed or version (adblocker plus, etc.). uninstall or disable in (firefox/tools/add-ons) , see if unblocks sites.you reinstall it.

without knowing blocker is, resetting or defaulting original settings questionable. example, adblocker plus allows uncheck particular rule in filter or disable particular filter.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
