Thread: HP server - desktop installed - rebooting

hi everybody.

got our hands on hp proliant g6 server , first thought of course ubuntu had installed on it.

server has ordinary desktop 64 bit ubuntu 10.04 installation on , have been running time, crashes , restarts once in while , not being ubuntu-guru, can't seem find problem , though i've been through various log files.
server runs virtualbox server several headless virtual machines running on it.


can 1 please me on this? ideas?
, log files/info guys need?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
