Thread: ok, so I did something really dumb and I hope you can help me fix it...


in efforts rid of pulse audio , use alsa only, found website had directions purporting allow disabling of pulse audio on per session basis needing reboot re-enable...

well, turns out not case, pulseaudio refuses re-enable upon reboot.

echo autospawn = no|tee -a ~/.pulse/client.conf && killall pulseaudio
how undo this, , pulseaudio restart?

just open file ~/.pulse/client.conf in text editor , delete line autospawn = no.
