.wav import to premiere.

hi

i have short 2 minute film have made , have put premiere edit. friend of mine made score , sound effects file a wav , gave me import premiere film. thought simple case of importing file premiere , match up, find although time of .wav correct @ 2 minutes, audio not synced , seems play faster. i've tried syncing other programs, nothing seems work. kind of bitrate problem or something? when @ file properties in premiere, see:

source audio format: 48000 hz - 24 bit - stereo

project audio format: 48000 hz - 32 bit floating point - stereo

 

please can help, because thing not syncing driving me crazy!

exactly how long audio clip , how long video clip?

 

could problem video might 29.97 frames per second , not 30. have thrown off composition?

 

you might want measure number of frames rather time.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
