Color Malfunctions

perhaps silly question... no questions stupid, right?

 

my issue this:

 

illustrator not processing red properly. more showing - far saturation red. if makes sense.  using cmyk since work printed out. color not wrong until printed - seems fine till then. both images , work created on illustrator. images of people problem shows of course - makes them on fire inside out.

 

i printing out images on hpdesignjet t790 illustrator on mac  -  , have run of tests see issue coming from. results show not printer, not mac, , illustrator.

 

cmyk selected in document, in printer menu.

 

hopefully simple fix!

quit software.

 

bridge >> edit >> creative suite color settings >> choose color setting wnat use creative suite.

 

take cmyk photo , print photoshop, place same image in illustrator (make sure file >> document color mode >> cmyk) , print, color should same between both programs.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
