so hello first , have problem  consists in. drew star wars helmet on paper  made lines thicker marker  scanned  , traced it  , removed white . hit expand , move anchor points make mor straight , feel good. here problem. wanna make different lines have different stroke size how select ? or how deselect whole thing cause im making have same stroke , dont' wanna that. thank you.

use direct select (hollow arrow) tool. "a" keyboard shortcut.

 

live trace not draw vector paths how them. scissors tool , pathfinder palette, can big help.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
