InDesign Crashes on startup

i'm running indesign cs6. date.

 

i've upgraded mac osx 10.8.3

 

after update, indesign crashes on startup. splash screen appears few seconds id crashes.

 

i tried setting permissions on folder:

~/library/preferences/adobe indesign/version 8.0

 

still crashes.

 

i tried solution from:

http://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/indesign-crashes-blank-dialog-boxes.html

 

still crashes.

was in-place os upgrade, or clean install of new os , clean install of programs?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
