.ipa file does not sync to ipad when dropped into itunes. with no error message

  1. i added 2 new devices mobile provisioning files, through xcode.
  2. gathering udids this
  3. generated new ipa file
  4. dropped itunes
  5. clicked "will install" , "syncd"
  6. nothing happens, no error message , app not move ipad.
  7. i did not create new certificates

 

when done first 2 times worked fine.

did put updated .mobileprovision file on new devices before trying load .ipa?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
