Make a slider link to a root-relative or arbitrary URL?

hey!

 

i using slider came default bc template (i believe nivo slider), , gives me options item name, url, & image.

 

the url slider links has relative web app's directory, example can link mydomain.com/slider/somepage when want link mydomain.com/somepage.

 

is there way around this?

what if try using url references root... instance in url field if wanted mydomain.com/somepage use "/somepage" or if wanted mydomain.com/somefolder/somepage use "/somefolder/somepage"

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
