Thread: Format into Ubuntu with Amilo M 1451G , confused ?

hello , , happy new year love , health of you..

have , old laptop .

fujitsu siemens amilo m - 1451 g.


  • processor: intel pentium m 740 processor (1,73 ghz, 533 mhz, 2mb l2 cache)
  • technology: intel centrino mobile technology
  • ram: 512 mb mb ddr ram,

have downloaded 11.10 version of x32 site.


have burned cd , ready . started format, choose option of "replace windows xp delete in computer , install ubuntu 11.10 " second option when boot started.


now, have 11.10 ubuntu linux have done updates came center.


computer , lagging lot.



can open 1 mozilla broswer, if try open example software center , result waiting 10 minutes change condition or close application .




wrong ? can explain me ?

anyone kind of clue ?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
