i have amd processor, should install 32 or 64 version? , benefits or what's difference in 2 versions of ubuntu?

processor is: amd phenom ii x6 1090t

use 64-bit version. differences between 2 amount of memory applications can access (32-bit limited 4gb) , processing extensions can used (like sse4). 64-bit version better in every way assuming processor supports it, your's does.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
