Thread: Installed Ubuntu 11.10 but netgear 150 wireless USB micro adapter WNA 1000M won't wor

i installed ubuntu 11.10 on dell inspiron 8000 laptop can't on internet.
bought netgear 150 wireless usb micro adapter wna 1000m, installation cd windows.
thought able find driver on internet, on other computer, download flash drive , move dell inspiron ubuntu , install driver. thought plug in netgear wireless adapter , take off. cannot find such driver. complete beginner , first time see linux installation. please give me simplest instructions possible. thank you

the wna 1000m uses realtek rtl8188cus chipset.
should supported rtl8192cu or drivers @ realtek

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
