i in process of building jukebox. tried skg jukebox software, doesn't seem work. there other similar programs can use? i've browsed through dozens of options, windows or don't have jukebox-type interface.

man searching similar. want web interface control music playing on server/stereo allows random/dynamic playlist device on local lan.

you, here couple of different configurations seems pretty common , fulfill users needs:

1. mpd + your client of choice

2. rhythmbox + plugins (specifically rhythmote or rhythmbox-gwt)

3. subsonic (the jukebox feature allows local playback)

if want touchscreen jukebox @ bars haven't seen linux in realm. perhaps can use wine run windows apps. interested see other ideas there out there.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
