Thread: Libre office can't handle .rtf files? how lame is that?

well been 3 months of exclusive ubuntu os 11.10 , i've had not had go virtualbox dual boot incompatible websites firefox 8 upgrade. things seem going fine must comment libre office terrible , no way close openoffice. have tried revert openoffice seem have trouble getting work because there many steps involved working. i'd hate have dual boot windows because need reliable officesuite/ word processor. has managed revert openoffice using deb packages provide, or there fix libre open , view basic of documents rtf file? or program office

what problem you're having rtf files? lo opens, edits , saves them on machines.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
