Thread: Nautilus Running as Root
i have weird problem ubuntu 11.04 installation. seems nautilus running root. don't know triggered this. username displayed correctly in upper right corner of screen know correct user logged in, nautilus seems running root (or other unknown user). system has following symptoms.
* files copied or extracted in nautilus owned root
* root desktop displayed
* installed wine applications not populate in applications menu, show on root desktop
* opening user home folder requires root password entered
* dropbox not have access dropbox folder
fstab file below. not sure if relevant problem. may have been messing when problem started.
