Thread: Script to Dim screen Brightness when on Battery?

i'm not sure if i've used term script right here im looking screen brightness on laptop automatically go 0 when ac plugged out?

i've seen few threads on how more life out of battery on older versions of ubuntu (im running 11.10), if can vouch them i'll give them go more battery out of this.

laptop asus n53sv , running ironhide turn off gpu has helped alot. windows 4 hours battery , on ubuntu 3. wanna see if can squeeze more out.

if go system settings power , settings menu (the cog @ top right), , select screen provide control want? or looking more flexible?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
