hey,
know, mistake m$ use strg+alt secondary functions of keyboard. ive been programming on windows computer ever since , bought notebook install ubuntu on , missing strg+alt much. not could'nt used used if do, wil soner or later brake right hand because altgr , 7 far away each other on home computer.

there way or workaround solve this?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
