Thread: Webcam Mic Nonfunctional

i have hercules dualpix exchange webcam on ubuntu oneiric install , mic not work. device shows in sound settings (see screenshots) mic not pick - video, however, works perfectly. mic works in windows , has same issues oneiric install. webcam listed on linux uvc's supported list.

have searched around fix have found nothing helped - has else had issue or know how fix it?

currently having same issue. webcam mic functions in windows. webcam visual works , audio outputs function in 64-bit oneiric.

hardware input webcam audio not listed in system settings, problem. running acer aspire laptop amd phenom ii processor , ati radeon hd4200. fixes found intel processors. know more issue?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
