Want export length shorter than sequence length

my assembled clips 4 minutes long squence 7 minutes long. when go queue export says 4 minutes renders 7 minutes. i'm pulling hair out on this. i've tried solving bunch of ways comes same thing.

that doesn't make sense.  sequence length determined solely clips in it.  way sequence can 7 minutes long if have @ least 1 clip goes out 7 minute mark, may want expand sequence view take closer look.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
